Liturgy of the Hours / Divine Office: Universalis is Downloadable
Did you know this? I didn’t know this. Why didn’t someone tell me this? Universalis has a downloadable version! And you can put it on your Pocket PC/Palm Pilot/or Windows PC. You can try it out for free and if you like it, there is a one-time payment of £30.00. I haven’t tried it out yet, but I am going to!

Even with the help of Universalis, I still can’t figure out how to pray the Hours. I have the one volumn entitled “Christian Prayer” but it really is so overwhelming to figure it out. Maybe you could offer an online tutorial through YouTube…or just come to my house!!!
I would LOVE to come to your house! what should I bring? An on-line tutorial will have to wait until I can show my face and my name on the internet. That might not be in the too far distant future.
I’ve have several people with the one-volume “Christian Prayer” (which I don’t have) ask questions. I wonder if that is somehow more complicated than the 4-volume set just because they don’t write so much out in multiple places.
Hmmmmm…..so it sounds like the 4 volume set might be more “user-friendly”? Ugh$$$$$ Let us know when you make your internet full frontal “debut”!
Hey Martha, I have a friend who has used both the Book of Christian Prayer and the 4-volume set. I’ve asked her to write up a guest entry that will outline the differences between using the two. I’ve only used the Magnificat and the 4 volume set so I can only speculate.
